Japan
OOOSki
1st March to 6th March 2027
Join us on an unforgettable adventure to the iconic slopes of Niseko.
Nestled on the northern island of Hokkaido, Niseko is one of the world’s most celebrated ski destinations, famous for its incredible powder, stunning views of Mount Yōtei and night skiing.
With four interconnected resorts and over 100 km of skiable terrain, Niseko offers something for every level, from perfectly groomed beginner runs to epic off-piste trails for the more adventurous.
We’ll be staying in Hirafu Village, a bustling, modern, international ski town at the heart of Niseko. With authentic world class dining, relaxing onsens and a lively après ski scene, Hirafu offers the ultimate base for experiencing everything Niseko has to offer.
So, let’s go back to Japan on an Out of Office Collective ski trip!
Just minutes from the slopes, this 5-star luxury wellness hotel in the heart of Hirafu Village offers the perfect blend of refined design, modern comfort, and natural beauty, surrounded by stunning views of Mount Yōtei.
Inspired by Japanese minimalism, the interiors feature clean lines, warm wood, natural stone, and soft textures, creating a calming, sophisticated atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows in every suite invite the outdoors in, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, slopes and forests.
The hotel is home to six exceptional restaurants, ranging from sushi and tempura to Italian-Japanese fusion, all using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create unforgettable dining experiences.
After a day on the slopes, you can unwind in the expansive wellness area, complete with indoor and outdoor onsen baths, sauna, yoga studio, fitness centre, and private treatment rooms.
We’ll be staying in Three Bedroom Suites, each accommodating five to six people, with two guests sharing each bedroom (unless a solo room is requested).
Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, and the suite includes a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and a generous shared living room.

Day 1
Welcome to Niseko!
Once you’ve arrived, checked in and settled into your room, we’ll head over to the ski shop for equipment fitting and to collect everything you need for the week.
You’ll also be shown how to use the ski lockers for easy access each day.
In the evening, join us for the welcome dinner, followed by our welcome social to meet the rest of the group and kick things off.
-

Day 2
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before heading out for our first day on the slopes. Those booked onto ski or snowboarding lessons will meet their instructors, while everyone else is free to ski at their own pace.
We’ll regroup for lunch, before the afternoon opens up for more skiing and optional activities. Later, unwind with one of our private yoga sessions, or make the most of the hotel’s onsen and sauna after a full day on the mountain.
If you still have energy, head back out for night skiing, before meeting back with the group later on for an evening social.
-

Day 3
After breakfast, it’s back to the mountain. Ski and snowboarding lessons continue, alongside optional backcountry and Niseko resort guiding for those wanting to explore more of the area.
The afternoon is yours to keep skiing, explore Hirafu, or head back to the hotel to unwind in the onsen and sauna, with another yoga session available too.
In the evening, there’s another chance for night skiing, before we come back together for a group dinner.
-

Day 4
Today is your first full free day on the snow, with no lessons scheduled, so you can spend the morning exactly how you want.
Head out for a full morning of free skiing or snowboarding, explore more of Niseko at your own pace, or switch things up with optional activities like snowmobiling or horse riding.
Later, we’ll come back together at the hotel for a hot pot lunch, before heading out again for a fun snow tubing session in the evening.
-

Day 5
It’s our final full day in Niseko, with plenty of time to make the most of the mountain.
After breakfast, there’ll be options for backcountry guiding, snowmobiling and a sushi-making workshop, alongside plenty of free time for skiing and snowboarding.
Spend the day out on the mountain, exploring Hirafu or enjoying one last long soak in the onsen and sauna.
In the evening, we’ll get everyone together for our farewell dinner to celebrate the final night of the trip.

How to book
FAQs
-
Beginners are absolutely welcome, but this trip is best suited to intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders.
The itinerary is designed to make the most of Niseko’s wider ski area, including a full Niseko United mountain pass, plenty of independent ski time and opportunities to explore beyond the beginner slopes. You’ll therefore get the most out of the trip if you already have some experience on the snow.
If you’re a complete beginner and still really want to join, you can. Lessons will be available, and there are plenty of non-ski activities throughout the trip too. We’d just recommend coming with the expectation that Japan is designed as our more progression-focused ski trip, rather than our most beginner-focused one.
-
Absolutely. The majority of our guests join solo, so you definitely won’t be the only one.
OOOC trips are designed with solo travellers in mind, from our roommate matching process to the welcome socials and group experiences that make it easy to settle in quickly. Most people arrive not knowing anyone and leave with genuine friendships!
-
If travelling solo, you’ll be paired with another OOOC guest of the same gender. We use our roommate matching process to ensure compatible pairings wherever possible.
If travelling with a friend or partner, you can request to room together.
-
If you have a friend you want to share a room with, we recommend booking together by selecting 2 for quantity on the booking page. You will then have to pay 2 deposits.
If you are a solo traveller who has booked a shared room, you can find someone to share with either through the group chat and events, or closer to the date, we will send around a roommate compatibility form to match you with another guest.
-
Absolutely. Snowboarders are just as welcome as skiers on this trip, and Niseko has incredible terrain for both.
Your trip includes premium equipment rental, with access to a wide selection of current premium skis and snowboards. The Premium Package also includes unlimited equipment swaps, so you can change your skis or snowboard during the trip to better suit the snow conditions or simply try a different setup. The same flexibility applies whether you’re skiing or snowboarding.
You can even switch between skiing and snowboarding during your rental period if you fancy doing a bit of both.
-
No. Four days of premium ski or snowboard equipment rental is included in your trip.
For skiers, this includes premium skis, ski boots, poles and a helmet. For snowboarders, it includes a premium snowboard, snowboard boots and a helmet.
When you arrive, the team will get you properly fitted for your equipment using 3D foot-scanning technology to help assess your feet and find the right boot fit, alongside support from their snowsports specialists.
The premium rental range also gives you access to a wider selection of newer equipment, with unlimited equipment swaps during your rental period. So if conditions change, you want to try a different setup, or simply find something that suits you better, you can switch your skis or snowboard during the trip.
You’re also welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer.
-
Absolutely. If you’re confident skiing or snowboarding independently, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the mountain at your own pace. We’ll have a dedicated group chat for everyone free skiing, so you can see who’s heading where, arrange to meet up and ski together throughout the day.
We’ll also ask everyone to download the Slopes app, which makes it easier to keep track of your group on the mountain. So even if you’re not booked onto lessons, you won’t be left figuring things out alone. You can easily connect with other guests at a similar level and head out together.
-
The trips are for people aged 21 - 35.
-
No, flights are not included as part of the package.
You will need to book your own flight to Sapporo New Chitose Airport (CTS), as that is the closest airport to the ski resort and where the transfers will be departing from.

-
Flights should be booked to Sapporo New Chitose Airport (CTS).
We recommend flying into Tokyo on February 28th, then flying to Sapporo on March 1st.
Our group transfer will leave Sapporo New Chitose Airport at 12:00pm and take around 2 hours to reach the hotel. To join this transfer, your flight must land no later than 11:30am.
For the return journey, our transfer will leave the hotel at 1:00pm, arriving at Sapporo New Chitose Airport for flights departing after 4:30pm.
-
