For seven nights, we’ll be staying in a stunning 5-star boutique hotel in Cartagena’s most sought-after neighbourhood, placing you right in the heart of the action while offering a peaceful retreat from the energy of the city.

Day 1
Welcome to Cartagena!
Once you’ve arrived, cleared the airport and taken our private airport transfers to the hotel, take some time to settle in and soak up your first taste of the beautiful city. Enjoy the hotel facilities, explore the surroundings or simply unwind after your journey.
In the evening, you will have the chance to meet your fellow travellers over a delicious welcome dinner before we kick off the holiday with our welcome social, including icebreakers, games and good conversation. It’s the perfect opportunity to settle in, make new friends and start your Colombian adventure together.

Day 2
Start the morning with our welcome breakfast, a relaxed moment to fuel up and properly connect with the group before the day’s adventures begin.
Afterwards, we’ll head out for a guided walking tour of Cartagena's UNESCO-listed walled city, discovering the colourful streets, hidden plazas and fascinating history.
In the afternoon, we’ll unwind with a private yoga session.
Finally, we will enjoy dinner at a stylish contemporary restaurant known for its creative Colombian-inspired cuisine and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 3
After breakfast, we head out for an Out of Office Collective favourite, a luxury catamaran cruise!
We will spend the day sailing through the crystal-clear Caribbean waters of the Rosario Islands aboard a luxury catamaran. Expect music, drinks, swimming, snorkelling and breathtaking island scenery, with a stop at Isla Grande to soak up the laid-back tropical vibes.

Day 4
After breakfast, we will step outside of Cartagena to visit San Basilio de Palenque, the first free African town in the Americas and a UNESCO-recognised cultural treasure, full of rich history, vibrant traditions and strong Yoruba influences.
Our guided tour of the town will include transport, several cultural experiences, plus a traditional local lunch.
Upon our return to Cartagena in the evening, we will enjoy a group dinner at a lively and authentic Caribbean restaurant, known for its traditional Colombian cuisine and high quality food.

Day 5
After a chilled breakfast, we’ll dive into Colombia's world-famous coffee culture with an immersive tasting experience, learning about the flavours and traditions behind every cup.
Later in the afternoon, we will enjoy a private art & chill session, hosted by our hotel, which will be a great chance to relax and let the beautiful city inspire your creativity.
What would a trip to Colombia be without a salsa class?! In the evening, we will embrace the rhythms of Cartagena with a dance class led by local instructors.

Day 6
After breakfast, we will take private air-conditioned transport to the island of Barú, where we will spend the day at Playa Blanca, one of the region's most famous stretches of white sand and turquoise water.
Whether you want to swim, unwind with a cocktail, soak up the sun or get your heart racing with water sports, this day is all about soaking up the Caribbean bliss in a way that suits you.
Lunch will be included, and make sure to bring some cash for souvenirs sold by vendors on the beach!

Day 7
Today is a free leisure day to enjoy at your own pace.
Whether you choose to relax by the pool, visit nearby attractions, or join optional excursions to destinations such as Barranquilla or Santa Marta, spend the day exploring everything Colombia has to offer as you wish.
In the evening, we’ll come together one last time for our farewell dinner, a chance to dress up, celebrate the trip and toast to the new friendships and memories made.

Day 8
After breakfast and a final slow morning in paradise, it’s time to check out and prepare for your transfer to Cartagena Airport for your journey home.
We hope you’re leaving with new friendships, unforgettable memories and a camera roll full of enjoyment.

Absolutely. The majority of our guests join solo, so you definitely won’t be the only one.
OOOC trips are designed with solo travellers in mind, from our roommate matching process to the welcome socials and group experiences that make it easy to settle in quickly. Most people arrive not knowing anyone and leave with genuine friendships!

If travelling solo, you’ll be paired with another OOOC guest of the same gender. We use our roommate matching process to ensure compatible pairings wherever possible.
If travelling with a friend or partner, you can request to room together.

Solo rooms are single occupancy, and can only be booked for one person.
If you would like a room with 2 people, then book 2 shared room spaces.

If you have a friend you want to share a room with, we recommend booking together by selecting 2 for quantity on the booking page. You will then have to pay 2 deposits.
If you are a solo traveller who has booked a shared room, you can find someone to share with either through the group chat and events, or closer to the date, we will send around a roommate compatibility form to match you with another guest.
