Iceland
13th February to 17th February 2027
Known for its dramatic landscapes and incredible natural beauty, Iceland is a destination unlike anywhere else, with towering waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches, geothermal lagoons and volcanic landscapes all within reach.
Winter brings a completely different side to the country, with snow-covered scenery, cosy evenings, steaming geothermal pools and the chance to see the Northern Lights dancing across the night sky.
We’ll be staying in Reykjavík, Iceland’s colourful capital, known for its creative energy, great restaurants, bars and cafés, and its easy access to some of the country’s most spectacular scenery.
Expect an action-packed few days filled with incredible experiences and plenty of time to enjoy Iceland with a brilliant group of people.
So, let’s go on an Out of Office Collective winter trip to Iceland!
Join us on a winter adventure of a lifetime in Iceland.
We’ll be staying for four nights at an elegant
4-star boutique spa hotel in the heart of Reykjavík, putting us within easy reach of the city’s restaurants, shops and main sights.
Designed with a modern take on Icelandic style, the hotel combines warm, contemporary interiors with a relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect place to come back to after a full day exploring.
The hotel has its own restaurant and bar, alongside a dedicated spa and fitness area with a dry sauna, steam room, foot soak, relaxation area and gym, giving you plenty of opportunity to unwind throughout the trip.
We’ll be staying in stylish hotel rooms with the option to choose between shared or solo occupancy.
For shared rooms, two guests will share a room. If you’re travelling solo, we’ll match you with another guest of the same gender through our roommate matching process.

Day 1
Welcome to Iceland!
Make sure your flight arrives into Keflavík Airport by 1:00pm, ready to meet the group and take our included transfer into Reykjavík.
Once we arrive in the city, we’ll kick off the trip with a guided Reykjavík walking and food tour, giving you your first taste of the city as we explore the centre and stop to try a few local favourites along the way.
Afterwards, we’ll head to the hotel to check in, settle into our rooms and enjoy some free time.
In the evening, join us for our welcome dinner, where we’ll properly get to know the group and toast to the start of our Iceland adventure.
-

Day 2
After breakfast, we’re heading beyond Reykjavík for one of Iceland’s most famous adventures.
Our Golden Circle tour will take us through some of Iceland’s most iconic natural landscapes, starting at Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet.
We’ll continue to the Geysir geothermal area, home to the regularly erupting Strokkur geyser, before visiting the spectacular Gullfoss waterfall.
For those looking for a little more adventure, there’s an optional snowmobiling experience on Langjökull glacier.
Once we return to Reykjavík, the evening is yours. Grab dinner, relax at the hotel or join our optional Northern Lights tour and head outside the city in search of the Aurora.
-

Day 3
Today we’re heading south for a full day exploring some of Iceland’s most dramatic scenery.
We’ll start at Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, before continuing towards Sólheimajökull glacier, where we’ll stop to take in views of the ice from the marked walking route.
From there, we’ll continue to Vík and the iconic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, known for its volcanic shoreline, basalt columns and Reynisdrangar sea stacks.
Our final stop of the day will be Seljalandsfoss, before making our way back to Reykjavík for a free evening.
Spend the evening exploring the city, finding somewhere for dinner or simply head back to the hotel and make the most of the spa.
-

Day 4
After two full days of exploring, today starts a little differently.
We’ll head to Sky Lagoon for a relaxing morning in its geothermal waters, with panoramic views over the North Atlantic.
Afterwards, we’ll return to Reykjavík and the afternoon is completely yours.
Explore more of the city, go shopping, book an optional activity or head back to the hotel to relax in the sauna and steam room.
In the evening, we’ll come back together for our farewell dinner, celebrating the final night of our Iceland adventure.

Absolutely. The majority of our guests join solo, so you definitely won’t be the only one.
OOOC trips are designed with solo travellers in mind, from our roommate matching process to the welcome socials and group experiences that make it easy to settle in quickly. Most people arrive not knowing anyone and leave with genuine friendships!
-
If travelling solo, you’ll be paired with another OOOC guest of the same gender. We use our roommate matching process to ensure compatible pairings wherever possible.
If travelling with a friend or partner, you can request to room together.

If you have a friend you want to share a room with, we recommend booking together by selecting 2 for quantity on the booking page. You will then have to pay 2 deposits.
If you are a solo traveller who has booked a shared room, you can find someone to share with either through the group chat and events, or closer to the date, we will send around a roommate compatibility form to match you with another guest.
