Situated in the beautiful Pustertal Valley, Kronplatz is considered by many to be the number one wintersports resort in South Tyrol.
With 31 state-of-the-art lifts serving 121 km of pistes, this resort caters to all abilities, with wide, gentle blue slopes that are perfect for beginners.
We will be staying the peaceful town of San Vigilio di Marebbe, situated in the gorgeous Val Badia valley, at the base of the Kronplatz mountain.
With a variety of food, activities and views for miles - and also home to the largest zipline in Europe - this town is the perfect base for our first ski trip.

This boutique wellness retreat offers stylish, modern accommodation set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Dolomites.
With a warm, relaxed atmosphere, the rooms feature timeless, minimalist interiors designed with sustainability in mind: think clean lines, light tones, oak wood, stone, and soft fabrics. Every room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony, framing magnificent views of the surrounding mountain peaks.
The on-site restaurant blends tradition with contemporary culinary trends, serving Alpine-Mediterranean dishes crafted from locally sourced, high-quality ingredients, a true celebration of nature and culture on a plate.
After a day on the slopes or exploring, you can unwind in the rooftop wellness and spa area, complete with an infinity pool overlooking the mountains, saunas, and serene relaxation rooms.
We’ll be staying in rooms with private balconies offering views of the slopes, walk-in showers, and thoughtful amenities.
‘Shared’ rooms will have two twin beds unless a double is requested.

Day 1
Welcome to the Dolomites!
Once you’ve arrived, checked in and settled into your room, we’ll head over to the ski shop to get fitted for equipment and collect everything you need. You’ll also be shown how to use the ski lockers for easy access each day.
Then you have a free evening to grab food and explore the town and hotel. After dinner, join us for a welcome social in the hotel to meet the rest of the group and get to know everyone!

Day 2
First things first, a hearty breakfast to give you energy for a busy day ahead. Then it's time to ready to ski!
For those who booked lessons, you will meet your ski instructors, and for the rest, you’re free to explore the Kronplatz resort to your heart’s content. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to spend as you like.
In the evening, we will have a private yoga session with an instructor to help calm the mind and stretch the body, after a demanding day on the slopes.
Finally, join us in the hotel restaurant for a 3-course gourmet dinner.

Day 3
Enjoy a lovely breakfast in the hotel before getting ready for another day of skiing!
For those who booked lessons, you will meet your instructors. For everyone else, another day on the beautiful slopes.
In the afternoon, we will be heading up the mountain to visit the AlpiNN Restaurant for 3-course gourmet meal.
In the evening, we will be heading to the San Vigilio Ice Rink to enjoy some ice skating under the stars.
Wrap up the day with a massage in the spa or relaxing in the heated rooftop pool.

Day 4
Another day in the beautiful San Vigilio!
Join us for breakfast and then day is yours to do as you like. You can book additional ski lessons, continue skiing and exploring the mountain, you could spend the day in the spa or you could go for a husky or horse sleigh ride!
In the evening, join us in the hotel restaurant for our final dinner together.
Finally, come along for a cinema night in the hotel, complete with popcorn and snacks. Sit back and relax and enjoy a film with us!

Day 5
Join us for a final breakfast, then it will be time to bid farewell to our new friendships.
You’ll have a bit of free time to relax, do some last-minute shopping, or take in the views one last time.
Our group transfer departs at 11 AM, so make sure to be ready and packed in time.

How to book
To book one of these rooms:

After completing the form, you will automatically be taken to checkout.
Fill in your details and make the required payment.
Your reservation is confirmed up receipt of the booking confirmation email.
Make sure you fill in the ‘Booking Details’ form on your We Travel account as soon as possible, to finalise your booking.

No! This trip is suitable for complete beginners, though we recommend having lessons before we head out so you are comfortable with skis.

Yes! You can snowboard instead of ski, but you will need to include it as an add-on to cover the different equipment.

The trips are for people aged 21 - 35.

No, flights are not included as part of the package.
You will need to book your own flight to Innsbruck Airport (INN), as that is the closest airport to the ski resort (despite being in another country).
We recommend using Kayak or Skyscanner to find the cheapest flights.
If you cannot fly into Innsbruck, then we recommend Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN), Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), or Treviso Airport (TSF) as alternatives but these are further away and you will have to arrange your own transfer.

Please book your flights into Innsbruck Airport (INN) in Austria.
Our group transfer will leave Innsbruck Airport at 1:00pm and take around 2 hours to reach the hotel in Italy. To join this transfer, your flight must land no later than 12:30pm.

Yes, transfers are included.
We will be organising the following transfers, between Innsbruck Airport (INN) in Austria and the hotel in Italy:
Outbound: January 30th, 1pm
Inbound: February 3rd, 11am

UK and US passport holders may need to apply for an ETIAS if the scheme has been implemented by the time of travel. To find out more and to see if your country requires an ETIAS, read more here.
EU passport holders will not a visa or ETIAS as per the Schengen Agreement.
If you hold a passport from a country that requires a Schengen Visa, please make sure you get a visa that allows you entry to both Austria and Italy, as we recommend flying into Innsbruck Airport in Austria and crossing the border into Italy to transfer to the hotel as it is the closest airport. If you are only able to obtain a visa for Italy, you will have to fly into Venice or Verona and will have to arrange your own transfer.

Yes! Travel insurance is a must - make sure that it covers ski and winter activities (this is very important).

If you have a friend you want to share a room with, we recommend booking together by selecting 2 for quantity on the booking page. You will then have to pay 2 deposits.
If you are a solo traveller who has booked a shared room, you can find someone to share with either through the group chat, events, or we can facilitate pairing you up.
